DNA Questions in Ronald Castree Case
Today's articles tracking former comics dealer Ronald Castree's trial for the 1975 murder of the child Lesley Molseed provide a glimpse at a potential defense:
not being able to prove that the semen that led to the DNA link to Castree 30-plus years later was spent in the course of a killing. Also, I hadn't seen the photo that's available through the link, nor had I actually read that Castree denied having committed the murder until today's articles -- although that certainly would have been understood given the trial, one supposes.
