Festivals/By Request Extra: Geek OUT Reaches Goal

Despite having two avenues through which to approach the story, I did not figure out that there was a group organizing a crowd-funder to help fuel a "super queer comic con" in New York City next year until Brigid Alverson told me. Thank you, Brigid. I think that would be a fine and potentially quite successful addition to a suddenly heavy NYC convention landscape.
