Fruits Basket, Manga Dominates
Manga's success in bookstores has been a story for so long now, one is always grateful for a twist on the story. The runaway hit series
Fruits Basket complies with its impersonaton of the Hydra of greek myth, as one volume makes way for another at the top of the bookstore sales charts. Manga in general continues its impersonation of the Hydra of late 1960s Steranko comics by appearing throughout the list, in 23 of 25 slots. The comics business analysis site ICv2.com
