Go, Read: Posy Simmonds Profile

The Telegraph has a very long, genial profile of the cartoonist Posy Simmonds on the eve of publication of her anticipated collection Tamara Drewe. If all the other news stories out there get you down, spend a few minutes in Simmonds' company and you'll likely feel better about the entire medium and everything related to it. One good piece of sort-of news is that she has another longer work planned. Tamara Drewe, which was serialized on-line, is out in Great Britain probably as we speak (official drop date November 1) and will be out sometime in November (official drop date November 27) here in the United States.
