Katrina-Affected Comics People Update

image

The comics business news and analysis site ICv2.com has updated its coverage of members of the comic book retailing community affected by last week's weather disaster, noting that the impact will be felt by many stores without a physical loss because of a loss of capital as business has been suspended. One also supposes that in many areas comics will be a lower priority for a while as existing customers feel the pinch in more basic areas of life.

As seen above in a strip dated for today, the New Orleans Times-Picayune cartoonist Steve Kelley continues to work, this time appearing in that paper's first print edition in a while.
