Kodansha: Kodansha = Number One

In what might be my favorite news story of the last couple of months, Kodansha announced the winners of the 29th annual Kodansha Manga awards, in which only titles by Kodansha are eligible.

Children's Manga: Sugar Sugar Rune by Moyoco Anno
Shonen Manga: Capeta by Masahito Soda
Shoujo Manga: Oi Piitan!! by Risa Itou and A Perfect Day for Love Letters by George Asakura
General: Dragon Sakura by Mita Norifusa

Past winners include a lot of stuff published by Kodansha.
