Lynda Barry Joins UW-Madison Department Of Art
Alan Gardner at The Daily Cartoonistcaught that the great Lynda Barry has joined the University of Wisconsin as an assistant professor on its Madison campus. Barry is one of the best cartoonists and excellent essayist, and has made part of her living the last several years holding writing seminars. UW is a massive school, with over 40,000 students. She spent last Spring on campus as an artist-in-residence.
