According to that superior link-blogger Keven Melrose, the '90s mainstream-style comics artist Randy Queen has apologized for his aggressive pursuit of use of his art that included a significant number of pieces where his work was reviewed negatively. One of the classic fair-use employments of copyrighted art is in criticism. Queen was criticized widely and soundly for his pursuit of take-down notices and similar actions against sites.
