Missed It: Isotope Award Submission Process In Final Week Given such a busy comics calendar, it's not a major crime to have missed the announcement for this year's Isotope Award For Excellence In Mini-Comics program, which concludes its nominations cycle on September 30. That's the one that's tied into APE, with required attendance at a party in the winner's honor (although I suspect the shop and gallery space would have a party that weekend anyway). Anyhow, it's certainly a good way to bring one's work to the attention of lazy, slack-jawed mopes that don't have access to comics shows where new mini-comics can routinely be discovered. Past winners include Josh Cotter, Daniel Merlin Goodbrey and Will Dinski.
