NEJAR Awarded Major Arts Grant The New England Journal of Aesthetic Research, the arts blog focused on that so-named region of the United States founded by cartoonist and writer Greg Cook, recently won two arts grants including a $30,000 award from the the Creative Capital and the Warhol Foundation’s Arts Writers Grant Program. You can read Cook's announcement on the matter here. Although I guess this is a not-comics item, there are posts of interest to comics fans on the site such as one on Maxfield Parrish's illustrated letters, and it's generally a good and interesting one. Also I can't help but think that a grant of that size going to a project like this one will mean more than a grant going to a giant print project, but that's probably a personal bias. thanks, Tom Devlin
