* this has never occurred to me as something to wonder, but maybe it has to you: why Uncle Owen hates Ben Kenobi.

* what Marvel is doing with their Hank Pym character right now. This is way better than my idea he hang out with underage superheroes and occasionally buy them beers. They're also moving the Wasp superhero concept to a different character to Janet Van Dyne. The Van Dyne Wasp was the best female superhero character they had back in the 1960s.

* Paul Gravett talks to Jill Lepore.

* one of the reasons Amazing Spider-Man held on the longest in terms of original 1960s Marvel titles that still had the momentum going from their very first issue is that a lot of professional attention was paid to things like memorable splash pages.

* finally, I don't know what's going on with this poster, but I approve.
