* I turn around for what feels like 20 minutes and suddenly I'm no longer first in line to review the Tom Of Finland underwear collection. 2012 is finally over.

* finally: did I remember to congratulate the great Lynda Barry on this fellowship? I think I may have. How about Sophie Yanow on this translation prize (for an excellent book)?
