Random Comics News Story Round-Up
* the designer and cartoonist JP Trostle kindly made available to CR the press release he received from the Ohio State University Cartoon Research Library regarding the late syndicate editor and underground comix archivist Jay Kennedy's comics bequest to that institution. The Jay Kennedy Collection will be housed in the OSU library's secure stacks and will consist of the approximately 9500 items in one of North America's most famous specialty comics collections.
* do people who aren't into comics find articles like these convincing because a) they make a good case for the social relevancy of superhero event comics, b) newspaper feature writing is so generally banal that one assertion of how things really are is as good as any other, c) they actually are socially relevant, or d) the premise is flawed?
