Random Comics News Story Round-Up

* at some point, somehow, I would like to purchase a copy of this print.

* festivals extra: Gary Panter has a show coming up.

* I like the feel of this unused R. Crumb cover.

* not comics: I was not aware of this particular film, derived from the work of the late, great Ronald Searle. There are a lot of things of which I'm unaware. Comics has the lowest threshold of works you have to read to be consider a wide-ranging reader. There are so many efforts in the cartoon arts yet to be explored.

* you'll never go wrong buy a piece of original art from David Lasky.

* finally, a great illustration of the late Connie Hawkins.
