RG Wins Best For Adaptation Prize



The most honest award in comics, the Meilleure Bande Dessinée Adaptable, pour le cinema comme la television award given out at the Forum International Cinema & Litterature in Monaco, went to RG by Pierre Dragon and Frederik Peeters. This makes some sense in that from what I remember the critics that didn't like cop drama didn't like those elements of the story or the way the characters were portrayed that seemed ideally suited for film or television even when viewed as faults in the literary work. Also, I think there's a second volume in the series due any day now.
