Tony Twist Accepts $5M Settlement

Tony Twist, who won a $15 million judgment in 2004 for having his name used on a mob-like character in Todd McFarlane's
Spawn,
has accepted a $5 million settlement from the Arizona court dealing with McFarlane's publishing company's bankruptcy, a move the cartoonist and toy mogul made following the decision and two failed appeals. Twist had earlier won a $24.5 million award, but that was later thrown out. The settlement ends an almost decade-long legal conflict.
