Top Shelf Receives Capital Investment

image

John S. Johnson and Likely Story, a film production company owned by Anthony Bregman, have purchased a 33 percent interesting in Top Shelf Productions, in a capital investment deal designed to buttress the publisher's bottom line and give Bregman's company a first look deal at all Top Shelf publications. It was announced at the same time that Alex Robinson's Too Cool To Be Forgotten would receive the first development deal under the new arrangement. I assume without knowing this is the John S. Johnson mentioned in the PR, which would perhaps indicate a reinvestment in and potential acceleration of Top Shelf's on-line efforts, or at least offer that as a possibility.
