Tra La, La La La La-Arggghhh!!! According to this article, the heirs of Peyo have allowed the use of the Smurfs in a commercial by UNICEF in which the beloved characters are bombed back to the Stone Age. Apparently, this is not designed to make the point that we're so totally screwed up we're more devastated by seeing blue people being killed than we are brown people, but to suggest that perhaps carpet-bombing innocents is wrong.
