Twenty-Three Years, Two Hires, Same Person
This piece on the appalling lack of female editorial cartoonists in North America -- the States have three on major papers; Canada has one, Sue Dewar at the
Ottawa Sun, whose work is shown above -- proves interesting in that one of the cartoonists suggests the confrontational nature of the job may be a disincentive, an idea which would sound kind of ugly coming from a male cartoonist.
