Venezualan Cartoonist Files Complaint Against Harassment According to a piece up at El Universal, their cartoonist Rayma Suprani has filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office in Venezuela and written a letter to the president of the Venezuelan Journalists' Association alleging harassment since being criticized by the host of a state-run TV program. She claims in both letters that this is part of a harassment campaign to intimidate her and others like her from speaking out on government policy.
Suprani has been an editorial cartoonist since 1999, with a career that's run the length of Hugo Chavez' time in power.
