Violent Drifter To Adopt Child

The best thing about this press release from King Features Syndicate as it's reported here isn't the news that some old-timey character is doing something that will get it some media play, but that they actually feel it necessary to tell us that the adoption will take place in the comic strip at the same time, as if the strip is to be altered to match Popeye's real-world doings.
