Wired Profile Leads With Saliva Story

This Wired profile on the state of webcomics using this year's San Diego Con as a springboard kicks off with an incident whereby someone reacted to a comic by spitting on Scott Kurtz. Kurtz disagrees with how it was emphasized in the reporting in today's top entry at the cartoonist's weblog. Otherwise, the Wired thing a pretty standard profile with quotes from Scott McCloud and Shaenon Garrity. It's nice to hear that in webcomics, much like regular comics, there's a pretty strong network that will get the word out on a new, top-level work.
