Your 2012 Manga Taisho Nominees

Reliable manga and anime news clearinghouse Anime News Network caught word of the nominated titles for this year's Manga Taisho awards, a program that's been around for five years, uses bookstore managers of manga sections as its nominating committe and spotlights titles with less than eight volumes in print. They are:

* Hōzuki no Reitetsu, Natsumi Eguchi
* I am a Hero, Kengo Hanazawa
* Nobunaga Concerto, Ayumi Ishii
* Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Naoshi Arakawa
* Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū, Haruko Kumota
* Silver Spoon, Hiromu Arakawa
* Takasugi-san-chi no O-Bentou, Nozomi Yanahara
* Tonari no Seki-kun, Takuma Morishige
