Your 2014 Doug Wright Awards Winners
The Doug Wright Awards For Canadian Cartooning were awarded last night, in an event during TCAF weekend. Michel Rabagliati won what may have been his third award -- that's what he said from stage -- for
Paul Joins The Scouts. Steven Gilbert won the Wider Recognition award for his first book in 15 years, while Emily Carroll accepted her first avant garde award after two nominations.
Scott Thompson hosted. The awards went briskly and without incident such as last year's fire alarm and David Collier acceptance speech.
