Your Danish Cartoons Hangover Update

* the big news today is that cartoonist Kurt Westergaard opposes the use of his bomb-in-turban cartoon in protests against the publication of those cartoons; the drawing itself was perhaps the subject of a $5000 offer from convicted hijacker Martin J. McNally, who's apparently doing pretty well what with being in jail and all.

* this article suggests that Westergaard's not only unhappy, he's going to court to keep the cartoon from being used.

* the recent flare-up of political turmoil over the republication of Westergaard's cartoon will be a major subject of this conference of Muslim leaders.

* there are entire stories related to this thing that are progressing without my being able to find out about them. Not good stories, but still.

* and then there's the stories I wish I could stop hearing about: the controversy surrounding the Western Standard's republication of the cartoons gets just a little bit uglier.
