* officials in Jordan continue to receive pressure to make some sort of political stance against Denmark because of the recent republication of one of the Jyllands-Posten Muhammed caricatures.

* a politician in Denmark claims he was misquoted about the whole affair, and his country's foreign minister says it's up to him to get the word out on that.

* I hadn't heard of a protest in Bangkok before reading about one in this article. That headline sure is depressing. Here's an article with a less-depressing headline.

* I'm not sure how much of this to believe, and if I chose to believe it, how much stock I should put in it being a serious thing.
