Your Danish Cartoons Hangover Update

* Flemming Rose talks about the Osama Bin Laden statement against the publication of the Jyllands-Posten cartoons, and notes that this isn't the first time he's given a statement on the subject.

* Bin Laden's statement grew from the fertile soil of Muslim perplexity regarding the European nations, this essay argues.

* Denmark officially declined comment on the Bin Laden statement.

* more protests in Afghanistan. I find it odd that the lingering protests concerning the republication of Kurt Westergaard's bomb-in-turban cartoon have been whipped up by leaders in Afghanistan and Pakistan, which I don't remember being the case in the original incident.
